They need a legit top pair LHD. No clue who but it’s a must - TPC
Id call Boston and see if they’d be interested in a Big Z for Miller swap in some sense. |

Is he top pairing? I think a fringe top pair guy. But hes the type of guy we need back there. Nasty, hard hitting, crease clearing guy with snarl next to Fox. |

Ok but can he skate and move the puck because that’s also necessary |

Skating is fine, skills with the puck are probably mediocre, but all I ask is dont do dumb things and all will be fine. |

+23 on at team that had 4 players positive, the others +10, +2, and +2. Id certainly be open to it, we definitely need a guy like that, maybe next to Schneider and add another guy for Fox. Not sure why Boston would trade him though. |

Miller <> Zadorov
If Boston is looking to get younger, this is a way. Yes I know, we dont want to get older. I think we need to move on from Miller, I dont mind draft picks but they dont help us now.
My original thought behind the D few months ago was to try to get Big Z and then swing a deal for Byram and Tuch. With Fox on one pair and Byram on the other, give us 1a, 1b pairs. |

The most annoying thing about Fox is how we need to cater to him to make him better. He makes almost 10 million bucks and if the PP isn’t top in the NHL he is about as useless as it gets for a “defenseman”. It isn’t money well spent when it comes down to it imo and I’d try like hell to trade him.
He’s actually first on my hit list, ahead of even Kreider.
I realize I’m in the minority with this but it is super annoying that Fox needs a certain player playing with him to be at his best. He SHOULD make other players better (at his salary) |

Well, Id say he carried Lindgren for quite a few years. Lindgren wasnt a particularly great defenseman but we loved his sacrifice and leaving it all out there. |

He basically got lindgren paid. Its not that he NEEDS a certain partner. Its just better to have certain players paired together to bring out their strengths. Its like that for even the top players in the world. They can carry lines and player but having the right players maximizes their abilities even more.
He defensive impacts are better than people think. The team defense is just so horrific everything is magnified. |

Jimmy, you have proven that you have no respect for my request to not use that word. I can't understand how a grown man can't see how offensive it is.
