I'm definitely still comfortable with giving Schneider another shot to prove he's top 4 worthy considering he's only making 2.2 mil next year
but its definitely a big crossroads right now with K'Andre where he was making 3.8 mil and will be looking for a raise long term - jimbro83
Yea miller wanting a raise is a huge issue. Either a bridge deal or trade

Guess the bright side is Drury can point to his horrible numbers and lowball him. Maybe 4.5 for two years and hope he rebounds? |

I dont get the impression that K'Andre would willingly accept that
then there is arbitration possibly to factor in |

Arbitration sounds fine to me. He is likely to get about a $20 raise!! What is the alternative in that scenario, we just walk away with no compensation? Or what? |

I dont think you ever wanna go to arbitration because then the team has to bad mouth the player and K'Andre already has some issues and doesnt seem like the kind of guy who would react well to that

Nor do I think they want to pay a guy with "issues" $5M a year or more, either.
Something's gotta give. |

Trade as many as you can. The core is rotten and needs a change |

Anyone see that Seravelli thinks Tocchet could be the next NYR HC

How bout Lavy, Zib and Kreider out….Brock Boeser and Tocchet in. JT Miller named captain - Slimtj100
It wouldn’t shock me. He was a final candidate before they hired gallant based on reporting in the past |

If the core is that bad then they need to find out what went wrong with it in a matter of a few months. |

It’ll be very odd seeing Kreider in a different jersey next year. Little sad too. It’s shame his career here is ending in a whimper, kind of like Hanks did. Sad meaning no cup for him either |

Doubt tocchet is a fit with the JT Miller drama. Not a fan of him either. Another recycled coach

I’m pretty sure if you gave truth serum to Tocchet he’d have preferred EP40 traded during that whole thing. Miller is more of a player Tocchet likes to coach
Every coach will have flaws. It’s impossible to hone in on the perfect guy. Tocchet had Vancouver looking really good last year, especially at 5 on 5, with Miller a main cog. I think that would be much better than what we have right now. Idk who the assts would be, which has been an issue right now as we’ve seen |

This team needs leaders on the back end. The defense has no voice. No gruff. |

They had Trouba….
But seriously, I understand why they needed to move on. |

Why do we want Tocchet? I'm not saying we should not. I just want to know if we actually know what kind of coach he is, what schemes he uses, etc. |

Id love to make a play for Josi, but that contract is a bit much considering his age. |

What about Alex Romanov from the Isles? They may not want to move him, but he may not want to stay there. |
