The thing is, this system, previous systems, he still makes the same mistakes defensively. Hes weak on the body, relies too much on his length to try to make defensive plays and gets burned.

I'm relieved... I want to watch some good hockey with no vested interest. Can't wait for the playoffs.

Probably a mix of both. Players have recently admitted to being confused and missing assignments in their own end. They’ve had this system for 2 years, if it was a good one there wouldn’t be any confusion passed the first 20 games last year.

Hopefully we’ll see a highly eventful offseason. I’m sure management/dolan want to compete next year

Lavy should’ve been fired a long time ago.

Ekblad Bennett etc aren’t the answer. What we should be doing is asking PITT what it would take to get next years 1sf back, bc that could become a 10-15 year problem for us if we suck again next year.

What these idiots should have done is known it was over and tanked for a better draft pick then traded it. For example maybe end up with 6th/7th, then traded it to a team for a later pick this year and a pick next year.

JT Miller was nothing more than Drury trying to put lipstick on a pig. And at the end of the day when the lipstick wore off, this team was still a pig. Top to bottom, we have very few of the “right” type of players.
