I dont know, I never watch golf, but it was an opportunity to watch something historic. |

Rory McIlroy winning the career grand slam. Similar like in tennis when you win the 4 majors. |

And if you really think about it, only he and Tiger in the modern era. There were 6 like good players when Nicklaus won all those majors. It’s almost like original 6 in hockey. The players know are much better, and more of them to beat. Granted the equipment is light years better then it was back then
I think it’s safe to say the Rory is top 5 all time in golf. He’s got longevity too, he could win more majors. Monkey off his back kind of thing |

Its crazy though, they were saying he hadnt won a major in 11 years? I dont know if winning 5 majors makes you top 5 all time. |

It’s just tough to do the grand slam. There are so many different things that make them difficult to win. The greens at Masters, the rough at the US Open, weather at British, etc. you have to be good at everything, and handle it all
Scheffler is probably the best all around guy right now imo |

It’s funny that every single one of those players sucks at hockey that’s what Drury should say in public like these bozos are doing - Slimtj100
Yes all those players suck but were on a team that had the best record in hockey last year and as you always say, made it into the ECF. Aside from DeHaan of course. Now that they are gone, this team missed the playoffs, so what happened? Oh the players Drury got in return sucked more I would assume. |

There’s no reasoning with them. “Drury can do no wrong, we haven’t seen his vision yet 5 years into him being GM.”

The dehaan quote is directed at Lavy. As we’re Kakkos, Veseys, Jones, and about playing time or their roles. Trouba and Goodrow were probably directed at Drury and Dolan.
Drury is a hard ass. It’s obvious. Players who don’t play well are shipped out, it’s as simple as that. I mean this blog for days upon days called out every single one of the players who spoke out. We’d talk about them sucking in one way or another.
This season was a cluster(frank) and the season before revealed they weren’t good enough to get it done. Drury acted on it and he will act on it again with this team, and more guys will be gone. |

At 10OA, anyone familiar with Jake OBrien? He’s a center. Or big defensman Mrtka. The tankathon thing has us with those two players in that draft spot
We won once! Out of like 50 tries |

Im intrigued by Jackson Smith, but I dont think we will get him. Honestly, if we end up with a pick inside of 10, Id consider trading back and trying the quantity approach.
The reports on Kashawn Aitcheson are interesting. |

Need Anaheim to somehow pass us. Odds go up from 3.5% to 5%. |

he’s going to get drafted ahead of where he’s ranked. I could see top 12, maybe even top 10. |

Its funny, you like to belittle those of us who disagree with you as having a romance, just as you did it with Tom and I. I know you want to make it insulting but it sure doesnt bother me.
I find you very entertaining with your off the wall assumption with no bases. Your ignorance knows no bounds and that makes me laugh harder.
You still didnt answer me, why do you think next years team will be good/better than this seasons??? |

He seems to have that a-hole edge to him that we could use here. |

Yup. And I’d put money teams will value that even though most on here say, “that doesn’t matter” |

Would anyone do Ryan Strome for Kreider? That way you could play Strome and Panarin back together, and Trocheck could center the youngsters |

Theres quite a few stocky defenseman in this draft...
Mrtka, Aitcheson, Fiddler, Hensler, Amico, Limatov, Huang, Brzustewicz... all these guys close to or over 200lbs. 6'1+ |
