They showed that they can play that heavy grinding game. The Habs didn't have much, maybe 5 good chances. The Leafs controlled the slot in front of their own net. Habs were desperate and their goaltender played well. You can't critique a win, especially with a shutout attached. They'll probably lose tomorrow, because the Hartford Nomads want to play games with the time, so they can gain an advantage. Hopefully, it's goon time tomorrow, for their small town, similar to Ottawa, way of playing games at odd times. Too bad that Reaves wasn't available to take some heat off of Domi tomorrow.

I think we need 3 points to guarantee 1st in the Atlantic. It would be nice to outpoint Carolina, just in case that we end up seeing them in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Hurricanes ran up their points, thanks to beating up cripple teams in the Metro.

I'm actually expecting a much more solid game tonight. The Leafs have had several stinkers on the front end of back to backs, only to come out with a lot more energy on the back end.
