Not sure if you are still following the OHL, but if you are, any thoughts on this Jack Nesbitt kid?
Been hearing and reading some decent things about him. |

Holding leads is one thing this club always struggled with but blaming home ice losses isn't gonna cut it. Doesn't matter whether at home or on the road scoring was WAY down this year compared to last. Currently with two games left we have 230 goals scored and after 82 games last year we scored 279 lol. We will be lucky to get to 235 for this seasons totals home or away ice has almost nothing to do with it compared to overall scoring. - LordHumungous
At home 16-15-8 only teams that are worse Chicago & SJ. C’mon wake up lol

Forbort done with broken orbital bone.
I always like to see a decent scrap, which that was, but that shot by Trenin was cheap. |

Definitely a cheap shot, but Forbert also threw a late one just before that. Also the stick by Blueger from the bench, which I totally agreed with. Game was there for the Canucks but that tussle seemed to motivate the Wild. |

There's late, then there's the Linesman has got me completely pinned against the ice, late. That's the sort of sh it that starts brawls. Rightfully so. It's a p ussy move. |

Not arguing that it wasn’t cheap just pointing out that Forberts last punch was also late. Don’t get why the linesman feel the need to get in there so early. Let them sort it out themselves. |

Yeah you are right. Scoring isn't an issue whether at home or on the road...
 - LordHumungous
Scoring wasn’t the biggest problem.
Closing out games was.
PP could of won more games.
Early D made us chase games more.
Top 6 scoring cost us. |

We are literally down 50 goals from last season at this point. It doesn't matter whether you are at home or on the road. Basic Math escapes you like some others on here...

You ignore so much it’s incredible.
You can blame 3 for those 50 goals.

I know it's hard for you to understand Basic Hockey Sense lol but our play 'at home' did not cost us the season .
It's not just three players lol we swapped out 7-8 players from last seasons roster and scoring was WAY down.
I warned folks in here mid season scoring was going to be an issue but 'certain folks' defended the Canucks position. Is what it is I guess lol |

EP last year: 34 goals
EP this year: 15 goals (19 fewer goals)
BB last year: 40 goals
BB this year: 25 goals (15 fewer goals)
JTM last year: 37 goals
JTM this year: 9 in 40 games/about 18 over the course of the season (19 fewer goals)
19 + 15 + 19 = 53 goals
Seems like those three can account for about 50 goals! Who would have thought? |

Hoglander had 24 last season and has 8 this season, -16 goals.
Imo, some players had career years in 2023-24, which has caused many to use this 1 season as the benchmark for players goal output.
The team has also allowed about 20 more goals against, this season, compared to the anomaly season of 2023-24. |

Living the coaches doghouse for 3/4 of the season will do that. Seems like Tocchet needs a whipping boy to control. |

When you struggle get puck out of your end, you deserve being in the doghouse.
Also, last season Hoglander averaged 12:06 time on ice, this season, Hoglander has averaged 12;06 TOI. |

Or you blow coverages. From last game:
“Hoggy missed his man, poor guy,” Tocchet said. “He's not out (in OT often) and he missed his man. That's it. Overtimes are about individual mistakes. So that's what happens. He's playing good hockey, and he missed his man. You move on.” |
