His equally disgusting Chernobyl freak brother is on his way too.
- AdamFrench

Capitals stole him too in the 3rd round again...

Looking at the Leafs 2019 and 2020 draft, wow, what total failure.

If they had developed even just one player, like they did with Knies in 2021, this team would be a lot stronger right now.

Not saying he's a bum but you'd have to be blind not to see his effort isn't 100%, every single game.

If the coach won't rest him, he'll rest himself. He's taken 6 of the last 7 games off from scoring goals and the Leafs still have 6 wins out of 7.

- Rare_Jewel

I guess points in 3 of his last 5 games include 3 goals (2 vs Columbus and one last game) in that stretch is his slacking then eh?

If so I'll take it.

You dislike Nylander and it's obvious by what you post in here and that's fine.

It's just sad that you cant just enjoy that he's a leaf along with Matthews and Marner and JT etc. but making poop up that can just be proven wrong by facts is weak sauce & proves your bias and removes any credibility from your arguments.

Micro focusing on any single player makes it easy to find all the "gotcha" moments where they make a bad play, look to be lazy etc.

Surely you understand that don't you? Anyone could do it with literally any Leaf in any game.

It's going to feel weird cheering for the Panthers tonight.

If they win, they'll be motivated to beat Tampa Tuesday.

I'm confident the Leafs can earn one point in their next two games, but on the other hand, well, Leafs.

They haven't had Protas or their starting goalie and have been resting players. I wouldn't be too worried if I were them.
- AdamFrench

Yes, Protas on crutches. Watched him on Nikita Filatov and Arshavin podcast.
He is freaking big guy.

So if they still losing to Tampa it means you cheered for nothing.
I will not take that risk.
The Leafs will take at least one point in the next two games, almost sure.

We lost to Columbus and Montreal and beat Tampa.

An unexpected Battle of Ontario wouls be a tasty, tasty crack rock dropped into the great hockey crackpipe.

- Zezel

Florida and Tampa will be a war and the winner will be softened up for us.

If we can beat the Sens.

Hey G'ls,

Got some good news and bad news.

Good news, the Sabres only beat good teams and usually absolutely (frank)ing bury them.

I guess if he doesn't score a goal in 6 out of 7 games but the Leafs still win those games that doesn't matter eh? Then he scores a meaningless goal against Carolina but somehow he's necessary to be in the line-up every single game?

The point here isn't to say Nylander is a bad player. It's to say he's been coasting, the Leafs are still winning so there isn't much of a reason to keep him in the line-up when resting him is more valuable considering he missed playoff games last year

You dislike Nylander and it's obvious by what you post in here and that's fine.

You dislike me so you make poop up. I don't dislike Nylander. He is a very good player with obvious flaws you refuse to acknowledge.

It's just sad that you cant just enjoy that he's a leaf along with Matthews and Marner and JT etc. but making poop up that can just be proven wrong by facts is weak sauce & proves your bias and removes any credibility from your arguments.

It's sad that you have to invent and distort things to fit your narrow minded view. The facts have done nothing but prove you wrong time and time again.

Literally more made up bullpoop. Nobody is micro focusing on anything.

It's a simple set of facts;

Nylander occasionally takes games off.
The Leafs are still winning games without him scoring goals.
They only need one point vs bad teams (or one TBL loss) to clinch 1st place.
Nylander missed games last playoff because of an injury that they could avoid repeating by resting him for this week.

The same is true about Matthews. He's been playing injured most of the year, he doesn't need to play for the Leafs to get a point and they're better off with him resting this week than they are having him risk injury before the playoffs.

Resting could also involve playing the big guns on the PP but keeping their total TOI low so they aren't playing 20-25 minutes unnecessarily.

Brutal scheduling by the league having Leafs and Sens play thursday is apparently making the most likely game 1 start to be Sunday...Brutal.

You're not worth the time or effort considering you are still moving goal posts when presented with facts that prove you wrong over and over.

I regret ever responding to your stupidity.

I'd bench Matthews too.

But yeah, protect the guys who missed games last year.

If he gets pissy for that, he's a weak female dog who needs a wake up call. If he gets mad, good, use it for fuel in the playoffs.

If I had to bet I would put my money on Habs over Caps in the first round.
It is very small sample size, but pretty sure Habs fans like what they seen so far.
