So yes, I have a weird obsession with ticket prices.

Today's game in Buffalo is going to be a particularly fascinating one.

Normally, Leafs fans would be all over these tickets:

- Chance to clinch the Atlantic Division
- Marner 1 point away from 100
- Matthews 1 goal away from 400 in his career

But let's just say that some Canadians, for whatever reason (not a political post!), have altered their travel habits.

As of 9:30 am this morning, there's a pooptonne of tickets left.

For the past few days, the price floor has been $35 USD.

This faithful reporter will stick with this story all day, and let you know all the market fluctuations.

i still wouldnt go if the tickets were free, you paid for all my travel and said I could have free beer at the game

Mtl plays carolina on Wednesday

Cbus has Philly Tuesday and islanders Thursday.

Would be pretty crazy if it comes down to thursdays game. Iā€™d be a little nervous this morning if I was a habs fan.

I'm not nervous.

The refs really did want the habs to win this one. Where did they think the puck went?

It really was a weird moment. From the angle of the shot and Montembeault's movement, you kinda expected him to have made the save but the puck seemed to simply disappear.

Can't really be mad about the NHL giving a call to the refs saying it was a goal there.

For various reasons that I will not disclose here, I would also be unable to accept such a gracious offer.

What I don't understand is why the refs didn't look for the puck.

What did they think happened to it?

If it's in the goalie's equipment, you need to stop to get it out. If it's behind the net, you need to go pick it up.

I think they just figured Nazar was magician that made the puck disappear.

Panic has set in.

$23.40 USD gets you in the building.

Lots of pairs at mid-level 3rd tier going for $30.42.

Please note: from now on, all quotes will be in USD, and quoting price of one ticket when buying as a pair.

Magic was certainly in the air.

Like how a Habs powerplay appeared from nothing with 4 minutes left.

I haven't seen the replay but from the 300 level, from a guy that needs to buy glasses, it looked like a penalty.

A couple of quick observations:

- there's a slight bias towards cheaper seats on the end where the Sabres shoot twice. I guess they realize there's no way in hell a Sabres fan is going tonight.

- my dream seats - 15th row, behind the Sabres net, on the aisle - are $104.13 right now. I will definitely be updating these all day.

I don't really know if many have acknowledged it, but Woll had a solid game in Carolina. You love to see two goalies playing well heading into the playoffs.

In both we trust

Yup.
Stolarz seems to be the first game starter and then rotate as needed. Unless something occurs in the next couple of games

I'm just saying, if we all wanted to go together tonight, I could get us 70 seats all together, with nobody else sitting in with us.

Section 311

Five seats in row 5

All of row 6

All of row 7

All of row 8, minus 2 on the aisle.

All of row 9.

Nah, as one of Woll's biggest fans, Stollie is the goalie for game 1.
