You can't just take a teams points totals and transfer it to another conference without considering how bad the bottom end of conferences are. The bottom 4 teams in the West happen to be the worst in the league, based on points totals, so does that mean the West is the worst conference of the 2?

Either way the present wild card system blows and teams are being penalized for finishing in the top 16 after reg season. Top 16 should be in. Period. It's just fucking dumb the way it's setup now.

If Calgary finishes 14th overall with 96 points they miss? Even Van or MTL? Stupid.

Have the 2020 Sony 950 series 4K full array local dimming right now. Excellent TV all around. OLED is great but go to rtings.com and read the reviews some OLED's still have issues but they are better now. I'd stick with Samsung or Sony over LG as well. Just my experiences.

I believe Samsung makes the Sony tvs still. Really appreciate the help thank you a bunch

I don't disagree with you on this. The pro lem is the unbalanced schedule which can lead to teams having to play better teams more often than others.
I would be okay if they went one to eight in conferences, eliminating the seeds in the divisions.

Depending on how the first half shakes down, I could see them taking a winger if teams are reaching for defensemen and centers. They need centers, but more than that they need high end skill up front. Wingers are usually quicker to get onto the roster as well, which is better for their Hughes-led window.
- NewYorkNuck

Unless there's a really high end sniper/winger available but I'm not sure if wingers like Potter (undersized), Carbonneau (I don't like drafting Q players), Kindell, Spence would be more sought after than the centres available and provide more scoring?

Bear, Martin or OBrien would be home runs IMO. Nesbitt, Cootes, Murtagh would be trade downs.

Montreal, Philly, Nashville all have multiple 2nds as well

Address the top 6 centre by packaging Demko and Mynio (I know this isn't a popular opinion) and try to sign the best scorer available in free agency without bankrupting the cap space.

No worries at all. Yes I believe Samsung provides displays for Sony OLED's but not sure on their LED's. OLED performance is getting excellent but there are still vices to the tech. TBH if I was buying right now and you are looking for value I would go with this model:

https://www.visions.ca/so...332DyhEAQYASABEgJ_4_D_BwE

Reviews very well and is super affordable for a 65". Hell I might even buy one NIB and just keep it ready to go in case mine craters. Panels are only rated for 5-7 years now which sucks.

I didn't mind Jackson, until Load posted about a live viewing, which made me change my mind a bit, although I never complain about taking a big defenseman, with ability.

Pretty sure I posted a link for Lakovic awhile back.
Currently I am liking Jack Nesbitt, who is a 6'4 centre, which is the position that is most needed, now and in a few seasons from now.

Again, I won't be upset if they take Jackson, Lakovic or that kid out of QMJHL, Carboneau, that also has nice size and skill

Yeah Jackson Smith seems superfluous to our needs. I also don't see him putting up the points he is in Junior when he turns pro. He was -4 in the series against Vic and didn't generate much. We're better off with Mynio on the left side.

What do you know about this Brady Martin kid if he falls to 14th OA?

Not a lot. I don't follow the OHL at all. Same with the Q. I only really have time for the WHL. Got my tickets for the next 3 home games here if there's anyone on Spokane you'd like to know about.

Works both ways 4 of the top 5 teams are from the West.

Raty needs to gain a step or 2, chytll.

Come on now. It would.be silly not to draft a center. Wingers are avaialble every ufa season.

Hopefully teams target D in the first 10-14 picks and leave as many scoring centres available as possible.

With Quinn, MP3 and D Petey the L side for the foreseeable future - Kuddy being 7th or first call up - Mynio could be the expendable prospect if we were to try to trade for a young C this summer.

Visions indicated to us that LG is the only manufacturer that makes the OLED panels and provides them to the other manufacturers. I've been loyal to Samsung for years but just picked up an 77" OLED LG and so far there has been no looking back.

I don't think they're trading Mynio yet or they would've at the deadline. They aren't getting much of a C prospect by trading a 3rd round LHD who hasn't turned pro. Let him develop a bit and maybe someone further up the food chain becomes expendable.

I hope for a 1st round of:
Jets
Avs
Knights
Kings

Sens
Panthers
Habs
Hurricanes

Key word is “hope” not what I think the outcome will be.

Agreed on all 8 preferences.
Lots of great matchups in Rd 1.
Avs are my early faves to go all the way, but will have to look into matchups before making a prediction.

What an insane first round matchup, winner of that series could win the cup… going to be a good one. Rantanen vs Avs is wild, what a start!

We just bought a 55” Samsung neo QLED for the bedroom along with a sound bar.

When the living room tv craps out we’ll figure out what then.
