I usually don't follow goalies much, over the decades that I have followed junior age draft prospects, so I go with what other people, like yourself and Load Management say.

Even in the 7-0 loss he didn't look that bad, Moncton is just that much better.

I mean they're legit the top ranked team in the CHL but that can be misleading. Also, the Q is a more defensive league so the numbers might be skewed?

Regardless, we pick at the top of the 3rd round and he might be there.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes earlier than he's projected. Size might be a concern, his skating has improved and he sees the ice really well. He's been on a nice upward arc since he got here. It's been an absolute treat watching his line perform this playoffs.

Next season Verhoeff will be another definite 1st rounder. I'd love the Canucks to draft that kid. He's got everything you'd want in a Dman.

I'll talk to my brother about O'Brien. One of his best friend's son plays for Brantford and he watches them live all the time. I'm sure he's seen them play 40+ games over the past 2 seasons.

He's gonna be a doozy. You'd never know he was 16 out there unless you checked the birthday. Big, fast, physical, excellent sense and reads. Can put the puck in the net. 21 goals as a rookie Dman.
