Lavy isn’t getting enough blame for all these unhappy campers either. Drury isn’t scratching and handing out the minutes to these guys

- Slimtj100

Lavy has gotten plenty of the blame here, however, I think everyone realizes that hes going to get fired so theres no point in putting more tread on that tire.

This is only the stuff we know about.

Also the moves hes made have been a bit meh.

It will be interesting to see what the off-season holds for Zib after he said in an interview that, "both sides knew what they were doing when I signed the contract".

I get the anger of fans, but I think it’s misplaced towards the wrong people

The Miller trade will turn this franchise around. It just hasn’t happen yet.

No I’m just saying stop complaining about people complaining and go kiss your Drury poster or something
- picklerick

Idc what you guys do. I’m just laughing at you all for your impossible to please mentality. We had a nice run with Drury running things. Until he saw the writing on the wall where those teams could only take them so far

Complain all you want I don’t give two (frank)s lol

Yea all we know are more big changes are happening. I am willing to wait to see what comes of this offseason before I go off on negative outbursts

I have to give Drury one more season, at least. If Jim Nill gets 12+, Drury gets 5+

Drury pissed me off last season remember? lol I went off about getting them a center when Chytil went down. I do have the ability to knock Drury when it needs to happen

Yep same. The Reilly smith trade wasn’t ideal and the way he handled Trouba and Kreider not great. But the JT Miller trade and Borgen trade I really like a lot. Mixed bag year

Barring injury Miller could be a 100 point center. Get him a RW who plays with net drive and is responsible defensively. He’s the best forward on the team build around him. That’s a start.

His RW with either be Zib or Boeser imo

Zib was a PPG player with Miller

I know, but he’s not the answer . Besides, we don’t know about his mental state once Krieder is moved. Moving one without the other doesn’t make much sense too me_. If not trading both, may as well keep both for another year.

We’ll see… it’s the most polarizing question imo, is Mika coming back.

I think we’re ok if he’s back as long as they get two positions, another center for 3rd line, and a 1LHD. New coach obviously. But those 3 things gets them right again imo

I don’t think there is any way they go after Boeser unless either zib or Panarin are moved

Would you consider moving Laf to address the options you presented?

If ZiB is intent on staying, there’s your 3rd line center. Might as well keep Krieder too and play him on the 3rd line with Zib, they’re still very good penalty killers.

Idk if they could do this (cap wise), but this could be very nice

Cuylle Miller Boeser
Panarin Trocheck Laf
Othmann Zib Perrault
Edstrom Carrick Rempe

Minimal pressure on Zib in that role could be good too. Zib gives them options is the thing with keeping him. He now a very versatile player.

Kreider ain’t coming back. No way no how. And your right, that may be the only way Zib is willing to leave the org

Get ready for the laundry list. It never stops. It’s like Groundhog Day in here lol. I’m just waiting to get jumped by Brukie now

I feel like only handful of us are moving on. It was bad season. It happens🤷🏻‍♂️

Provorov or Gavrikov- Fox
Miller - Borgen
Robertson - Schneider
Urho

That corp with a new coach should be pretty good. Miller is the key to the whole team. He needs to be good. 2 yrs bridge deal for 6 AAV is reasonable for both parties. So we’ll give you money but we need to see more over the next two years. Borgen made Miller a better player i don’t care what anyone tries to say. They have chemistry as a pair

- Slimtj100

Miller is a turnover machine and makes too many mistakes. If he is traded id be happy with that.

It’s not terrible. Although, I’d switch Perrault and ZiB. It has merit

If they hire Tocchet, we may be in for the dark ages part 2.

Miller needs the right coaching staff. His ability is off the charts, just no one has been able to harness it yet. It’s obviously on him to do that, but I’d give him one more bridge deal/chance, and one more coach to see if happens.

With that said, he is definitely one of the more frustrating players we’ve ever had.

I don’t understand this thinking. Last year they were a top team in the NHL and this year through lots of adversity, they stayed in the race most of the season. Plus their goaltending is always in flux with Demko getting hurt alllll the time

Look at their 5 on 5 numbers last season, Miller and Boeser specifically

He has had 1 good year as a coach. Super risky move in my opinion. Quenneville would be a good choice but I doubt they will do it. Remember, Florida wasn't that good until he took over. Even though he was only coach for a brief period I think he got them on track.

Yea but he never really had a good team. Arizona sucked. I don’t remember TB lol I just looked it up that he coached there

Quennville is probably bad PR is the only thing. Otherwise i agree he’s the guy
