Lavy fired along with Housley

Ok that’s good. On the right track. Maybe they give Peca or Muse the gig

This is on par with what many of us wanted to happen. I, from the get go, have been a big supporter of giving Peca the tab.

Yea I know. I think we talked about being worried Peca would get picked up by someone else.

It seems odd to keep those 2 unless one of them is the next HC with the other still an assistant. I’d guess they’d hire a defense coach

One strike against Drury, it’s mystifying why he wasn’t fired earlier in the season. It just seemed so obvious all season long

If Dolan is allowing Drury to make these moves makes me believe he is coming back next year

This is it. I mean 3 coaches in 5 years is tough to get past now. Gallant was the mistake, he should’ve let him stay. That should’ve been on the players more than Gallant imo.

Drurys clock started ticking today imo (in Dolans mind). Certainly not in the fans mind lol that clock was already thrown against the wall and broken

Yea but he never really had a good team. Arizona sucked. I don’t remember TB lol I just looked it up that he coached there

Quennville is probably bad PR is the only thing. Otherwise i agree he’s the guy

- Slimtj100

He may not have a good team here haha. If he gets hired I will be rooting for him! I just want to see the team win.

I just remember how Keenan turned things around and maybe coach Q can have half that effect. (tough without a Messier, Leetch and Graves though)

If we decide to make a move for Boeser, Zib has to move back to center.

Yea I reference 94 as much as possible lol. I look for whatever symmetry I can. If this Panarin thing didn’t happen I’d give Q the higher probability of getting hired, but idk if the PR with him and Panarin would go over well.

FWIW, EJ Hradek mentioned Mike Sullivan as the target for Drury

Sullivan has always been his number one target. The problem is Pittsburgh will never let him go

Sullivan would be solid. Hopefully if there is a chance he is leaving it will be known soon. The Panarin situation is the last thing they needed. I always disagreed with fans saying they need to trade him. Who replaces his 90 points? But who knows what happens now.

San Jose Sharks general manager Mike Grier says he won't be hanging up the phone if teams call about his first-round pick.

The Sharks' last-place finish in the regular season secured the top 2025 lottery odds, giving them the best chance at picking first overall in this year's draft.

"I'm not gonna say no," Grier told reporters Friday. "Someone wants to make a really good offer of established young players - it's not something I'm gonna close the door on. Last year, I probably shut the door on everything that came my way. You never know. If there's a Ricky Williams, Herschel Walker-type offer up, I think we'll listen."

Rangers surprisingly could make a pretty good offer, plus the Grier connection. #11, Laf, plus?

Hes obviously open to it because this isnt the strongest of drafts. However, would people be open to trading Perreault if that, at the very least, secured us Schaefer or Misa?

I get the anger of fans, but I think it’s misplaced towards the wrong people

The Miller trade will turn this franchise around. It just hasn’t happen yet.

Miller needs the right coaching staff. His ability is off the charts, just no one has been able to harness it yet. It’s obviously on him to do that, but I’d give him one more bridge deal/chance, and one more coach to see if happens.

With that said, he is definitely one of the more frustrating players we’ve ever had.

- Slimtj100

The guy has had 4 coaches, its not the style of play its just that he has mental break downs which result in multiple giveaways. If he hasnt learned it yet, its time to move on. He isnt worth anything north of 4 mil per.

It feels like Miller has plateaued. He continues to make the same mistakes. My biggest gripe with him is he relies far too much on his length and loves to stick check. He gets caught out of position trying to reach. Also so many times he makes boneheaded plays. I know the common rebuttal is that defenseman growth is slow and not completely linear, but he just finished his 5th season with the team and it doesnt seem like its getting any better. His hitting has decreased and his giveaways have nearly tripled from last season.

This season was a very scary reality check. If these guys cant find the passion for the game again, and play like a team... its gonna be a tough road. Too many guys look like theyre just going through the motions.

5 seasons of disarray tho? Jesus Christ the misery infests this place

I think today was a step in the right direction. Lavy wasn’t it. My spidey senses say Sullivan or Tocchet. I want Tocchet pretty badly. That was good Vancouver team last year
