You hoping for the oilers or the kings? The anthems are going.
- Dozzer

Im an oilers fan and dont care for the kings.
But.
Can the kings really lose a 4th series to the oilers? (Well i guess it would be losing a 7th series in a row if you go back to the 90's)

Also i dont think the oilers are as good this year too many players coming off injury.
Sadly i think the kings finally take one series
We'll see.

Even though the Habs and Leafs are arch rivals, I'd rather see a Canadian team get through than Ovie and Washington.

I would cheer for a Leafs vs. Habs confrontation in the 3rd round, as highly improbable as that may be. Stranger things have happened in the WWE!

- Zezel

Nah (frank) the habs.
Canadian or not....(frank) them, hope they lose and i hope wapoopon loses in the 2nd round.

That 3rd was kind of funny.

The Oilers finally scored late in the 2nd (seconds to go) to make the game 4-1.

They then score early in the 3rd to make it 4-2, but then LA scores shortly afterwards and makes it 5-2. Somehow Edmonton fights all the way back and manages to tie the game with a minute and a half to go at 5-5.

Then LA scores again with 40 seconds to go

Is it me or playoffs on the West are more interesting than on the East?

True.
I like Winnipeg / STL and Dallas / Colorado the most so far.
Edmonton was very interesting too. But series just started, we will see where it is going.

They didn’t really show up until that first goal at the end of the second but yeah, I get what you’re saying.

I’m genuinely curious to see if their second game is as offensive, we’ll see.

Florida and Tampa should be good, at least I hope so.
Don't like the start in Habs and NJ/Carolina series, not nearly as good as on the West.
Go Leafs Go!!!
I truly believe Pegs can win it all this year.

I didn't watch the game but im assuming skinner was in net?
Thats another question mark for the oilers as well. He can be great and he can be campbell-esq.

The Devils's spirit was broken when Jack Hughes went down. This series will be the most one-sided one with Vegas/Minnesota imho.

Habs and Caps first game was physical, the late game comeback was exciting.

Habs in 7.

I’m kinda hoping Florida and Tampa have a 7 game series where they beat the living poop out of each other.

I have no faith in Skinner. None.

They'll win despite him or lose.

Never say never. But next game in Washington will show who is who.
I was like 50/50 before the series, but now I think Caps will take it and they don't need 7 games for that.

Yeah, I have a hard time seeing the Devils, without Hughes, winning a game in that series.

Same. Florida is not healthy and Tampa played a lot of hockey for the past 5 years, it should be the factor. The Leafs may have easier second round than expected if they finish Ottawa.

Really?

I mean the Caps came out really strong but as the game went on, Habs kept improving and it felt extremely fait they managed to tie it up in the third.

I wouldn't like our odds if we lose game 2 but we need to lose 3 to win in 7.

Depends on how Ottawa keeps coming at Toronto. If they keep trying to be overly physical I hope the leafs are smart enough to just keep taking the PPs and don’t get too responsive so to speak. That could get them hurt.

Looking at the all time playoff points to laugh at how ridiculous McDavid is and saw the shame that is Crosby on this mid as (frank) Penguins team. He had a chance to catch 4th place if they even just went to the first round a few more times.

Also depends on refs if they want to put whistle out or call pretty much everything like in the last game. I did not like one soft call, but the rest calls was fine, Sens did it to themselves.
