I'm sorry. This isn't even an us vs. them. It's an NHL rule thing.

How often could you swing at a puck and miss it just to nail some mouthy POS in the face? The fine line here is the reckless use of your stick vs. a hockey play. That was why they have a 4 minute penalty for high sticking - pure reckless use of the stick.
