How the (frank) do you spend that much time looking at something and still come away deciding that you can have a follow through when you didn't shoot the puck. 😂
- joel878

He caught puck then knies leg then follow through. It is what it is.

Let’s hope leafs ca close this out so it’s a non issue.

That’s the accurate explanation as unpopular as it will be with the OP. 🙄

Double shift the guy who is buzzing and clutch.

Nah this is what they’ve been preparing for all year under Berube. Time to close it out.

A little? They look like poop.

I think the PP and how easy the goals have come have them confused that it's going to be an easy series...

Knies scooped the puck off his stick with his skate, the puck was not shot.

Reckless use of the stick is what the rule is intended for, you're absolved in a shot attempt which clips someone with the follow through. A whiff on a clearing attempt where the puck went nowhere does not equate to a follow through, it equates to reckless use of the stick.

You might be right. I was thinking it’s the same thing. But wouldn’t the refs know that too?

The way they congregated - twice - it was pretty clear they had no idea how to call it and decided to give Ottawa a break.

Let’s save his goals for later. Let’s see the leafs defend a lead in the playoffs.

The refereeing penalty/no-penalty flowchart needs to be updated.

I'm going to ask an age old question: How long after a player releases a puck do you have to interfere / hit them? The time duration used to be extended in the playoffs and then started to become extended for some overly defensive teams during the season and now it's so insanely prolonged during the playoffs that it's nothing but interference.
