Knies getting boarded and his head slammed into the ice didn't even get a penalty, so we should expect nothing here.

Kadri as a Leaf doing that would be gone for the series.

Made one of the best plays of the playoffs so far, giving Matthews a wide open net for the ONE goal he has scored.

Marner was not good tonight - it’s a fact.

Matthews was also not good.

Nylander was good with a debatable line change (although he threw a hit taking a guy out do the oaky on his way off and the guy who scored came off the Sens bench after Nylander changed).

Stollie would like a do over I’m sure on a couple but he made some big stops.

Not cashing on that 4 min PP in OT was hard to watch (2 posts though) but it’s clear that JT on the PP is more important than perhaps many thought??

I don’t get how this wasn’t a call and won’t at least be looked at? I guess because he came back it will be ignored? It was a pathetically obvious head shot and the puck was never anywhere near the play.

The lack of any call on the JT head shot is incredibly puzzling and annoying.

If the has happened to Tim Apple Strudle the Sens fans would be rioting lol.

Someone else said it but did anyone really think the Sens would go down in 4? I mean they almost did but it will be sweeter to put them out at home anyway.

A buddy nabbed a guy a 1M contract and the thank you is tickets for Tues.

We don’t know where the seats are yet but this guy has 1st row 300’s but also some platinums.

I’m fine with 300 1st row personally but I won’t say no to the sushi seats. lol

I’d have a hard time saying one of them has been a lot better than the other and the stats kinda back that up. Layer in the fact one guy plays with Matthews and Knies and the other one with (checks lines for tonight because who the (frank) knows who is on he left side today) Holmberg where offense goes to die & JT.

Could Nylander have 100’points if he was on line 1 with Matthews and Knies all season? I think so but 🤷‍♂️.

Anyway there is no one guy to blame for this loss and they are winning in 5.

And this is what they will never acknowledge. No matter what. They’ll never ever in a million years admit that his defence is atrocious. He can be half decent but that requires trying.

Willy will fool you with his offensive upside, but immediately after he loses the puck, or takes a shot or whatever, every single thing he does without the puck is just lazy. Fans see the goals and points, but are completely ignorant towards he awful defence. They just change the subject to Marner or anything to distract from having to discuss his pathetic play without the puck. Idk why Berube allows this, but I think Nylander is gone pretty much no matter what if Berube sticks around.

If you believed the leafs actual play you'd understand it was. You were just hedging so if Sens won in game 3 you can come here and say "see I told you so!" You rather the leafs lose than win just so you can be right.

Also I'm not wrong about anything. You saying it without evidence doesn't back it up considering other posters have already said the same thing. You disappeared for a couple days so you could come back and pull this exact schtick of acting like you never were wrong.

You only hedge so you can weasel out of anything. It's why you're a lonely guy who can't even pay someone to watch the leaf game with them. I mean, I'd go as far as to say even if you did pay for a woman's company the experience would be the reason they'd retire from that industry.

Stolarz wasn't at his best on one or two of those goals but the Leafs had 4 minutes of PP time in OT and that was their opportunity. They played way better at 5v5 but didn't execute on the PP and that was the difference.

Ottawa is not giving up but the Leafs have to play this same style game but execute on the PP next time.

Agree. Leafs are looking like they did a couple weeks ago. Winning but definitely could be playing a lot better. Hopefully they get it together here.

Positive note is they continued to get the game tied after going down a couple times. They’re never out of it.
