Frazier and Lawrie are upgrades on the triple A caliber poop they rolled out at 2nd and 3rd last year.

The Royals can't be the goddamn luckiest team in baseball 3 years in a row can they?

I think the USA today dude's premise was "The AL Central is always unpredictable, and the Sox have been bad for awhile now, so why not them?"

They've improved, but they need a lot to go right for them and wrong for everyone else to win that division.

Also curious to see Sale without Flowers behind the plate. Flowers, very underrated signal caller/pitch framer, and Sale trusted the poop out of him.

Well...it can't be much worse than Saladino right? Moving on from Alexei was probably the right move, but that position is a massive hole unless either Rollins or Saladino pitch gold glove leather.

For some reason, the Philadelphia media has decided they'd like to go after Ryan Howard this year. Not sure why, but they want to embarrass him as much as possible. The team is going to lose 95 games and their only other 1B is 30-year-old Darren Ruf, but what a disaster it is to have Ryan!

i don't understand what's so hard for them to understand. the team gets good every 10 years or so. the rest of the time they are dismal. they should be used to this by now. it's been the cycle for decades.

Saladino will be steady in the field. Not sure he can hit his weight though. maybe Rollins has one more year of decent play left in his 37 year old body.

Yeah but watching Flowers try to hit was painful. I understand the importance of having a good signal caller behind the plate but he needs to be more then an automatic out at the plate.
