ty u. most of my friends are jays fans, i've received quite a few angry texts today. maybe they think i'm rick hahn?

either way, i told them the jays window is closed and they should accept that and move on.

True, but now he doesn't even have the pressure of being "the guy". They have Sale and the 2016 AL cy young winner on that staff as well. Plus that lineup is lethal. They could easily win a WS without Price being elite.

do the jays even have a single top tier prospect anymore? i doubt it. never for a second would i have thought the jays were in on sale personally

i don't think so. the other teams pool was better and bigger.

incredibly, they managed to cut off their nose to spite their face, though.

the team with probably the best farm system they refused to deal with. the Cubs.

They actually won the WS before they began making all those trades. Oddly enough, Carlos Carrasco ended up being the best guy they moved and he was viewed more as a secondary piece in the Cliff Lee deal. Knapp was the top prospect in that deal and he never played an MLB game.

Lots of places have Moncada as the #1 prospect in baseball at least. If you have to trade a guy like Sale you might as well get Moncada lol
