i'd like both but i think the phillies need to prioritize harper over machado just so i don't have to listen to 8 or 10 years of know-it-all phillie fans going over how he didn't go 110% that one game in the 2018 world series.

from what i read they did pretty much guarantee him over 300M. All he would have needed is 550 plate appearances in those season to have the contract vested for the next season. I can't get angry that their offer had an higher yearly salary and his agent or him were in some ego mode that 300M was the magic number. (frank) him.

absolutely loved with anderson had to say today. check it out. regarding the prospects, that's why to get a lot of them.
