oh a rebuild is going to happen. but ruben will be in charge of it.

the bumhole will probably (frank) with it a little next season, thinking he can still win with this nucleus (in other words, a wasted season) and then he will try the rebuild the following season. you know, make sure everyone the league currently thinks is too broken down to trade for really is too broken down to trade for. this also ensures that the only pitcher you have left who's anywhere near his prime is cole by the time the team can even make noise again.

also, keep in mind this team usually takes about 25 or 30 years to rebuild. and don't give me any 1993 poop. what was their record in 1992? right. now, what was it in 1994?

i don't mind keeping chase. i can't think of a phillie who i ever thought had as perfect a swing as chase. maybe there is one but i can't think of who.
