We made a couple of T-bones marinaded (not my idea) in worchestershire, balsamic vinegar, garlic, shallots and ponzu. Salad made with romain lettuce, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, extra sharp cheddar and homemade garlic croutons. Oven fried sweet potatoes and yukon golds. Saranac ginger beer. The steak was dry b/c of the f'n marinade  . Complete waste . All it needed was salt, pepper and good olive oil. Everything else was fine.

yea, you don't marinate t-bones, you dry rub them... MTL steak spice really is one of the best ways to go 
If I' not feeling steak spice, I chop up some thyme and garlic, throw in some salt and lots of pepper, add a bit of olive oil, and rub that on.
I've never heard of Saranac, but if you want some good soda, try Boylan's Cane Cola(and make sure it says "the natural stuff" on the bottle). Easily the best soda I've ever tasted.
