Fish tacos at Don Pablo's.
Never had them before and it's been over 2 years since I went to Don Pablo's (it was one of my wife's favorite places to eat and the last time we went, she did not enjoy herself because chemo messed with her taste buds and made everything too spicy). Anywho, said that to say I am glad that I went because it was fantabulous. Thanks to all who mentioned fish tacos over the last few weeks.
Swarz and I had a delightful time, even if he was stung a little by my refusal to have chai back at his place. - Flyskippy
That's not what I had for dinner. I had:
Lemon grass shrimp- I forgot the sugar so the fish sauce was a but much. Still good though.
Israeli couscous- Chicken broth, olive oil, crushed garlic and cilantro were the base.
Sauteed carrots- Butter and a brandy finish.
One Stewart's Birch Beer. Might as well be A&W.

I had a bowl of roasted summer squash, onions, and tomatoes, with a sprinkling of breadcrumbs on top. I was at a friend's house, and there was a gay name for it, but I can't remember.

And don't think the Don Pablo's staff wasn't perplexed filling THAT order. Especially the Birch beer. |

Well, you don't have to give up your black belt in gay food, but I must admit that I'm disappointed.

I like that stuff but it can be really bitter if you don't cook it right. |

I don't have any problems with good food.
Just because it has alfalfa sprouts and was marinated in extra virgin olive oil in a seasoned cattlehead overnight does not mean it's good food. |
