Hey friend. I saw a prime example of sangwitch the other day that was mouth watering, but I can't remember the meat they used and would like your recommendations. Goes without saying that I consider you the foremost authority on sangwitch on this site.

So in addition to the italian roll, here are the layers they had going, from bottom to top :
-mistery meat(s), a thick layer
-a copious amount of greens (i think it was basil). gives a good crunch so I like the idea
-a simple vinaigrette made with 50/50 olive oil and vinegar
-fresh mozzarella balls, cut in real thick slices. like close to an inch thick

So yeah. ALL THICK EVERYTHING.

That's it. Real simple but I feel like it'll all work very well together. There might have been another veggie in there, but honestly I like the idea of keeping it simple.
So, what do you think of that combination of ingredients, and what meat(s) would you recommend with those?

jesus this is a lot of pressure. i don't cook, i eat.

but copious amount of basil sounds off. i'd probably go arugula.

with the oil/vinegar, fresh mozzarella combo i could see it being prosciutto. i like prosciutto cotto over prosciutto crudo

again this is too much pressure
