I know! I used to work produce in a supermarket. I learned to love that and got to like starfruit. Still afraid to try a pomegranate, though. Looks icky.

there's a Jewish community centre on Spadina, near my school...and they normally give out bread during the religious feasts. Pretty much all the students go there for food lol Yes i pretend i'm Jewish

Wife always finds interesting, creative and new recipes. She's a really good cook. We eat lots of fish, vegetables, salads, and fruit - keep it pretty simple. Lots of grilling.

Certainly better than what you find in restaurants around here.

Before this thread, I really paid no attention to what she made. It was always good and that was enough for me.

You wife apparently makes some incredible food!!! We like to do it up around my place so I have to have a few Arby's melts/month just to keep me from being too much of a foodie.

imo, all food should have 5 ingredients or less(not including salt&pepper) and be cooked over fire

olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, beer... that's how you make a good steak

I love papaya and mango - and their juices. I've had pomegranate juice, but will have to close my eyes to try pomegranate fruit.

you just have to take out the pomegranate seeds and pop them in your mouth

but it is messy...and can make your teeth red

Yep. Hold the foo foo. All of above are great. Lots of olive oil consumed around here and as for the best spice in the world (just my opinion, of course), well it's fresh ground (always) Indian Tellicherry black pepper corns that we order from Kalustyan's in NY.

I'm gonna try to make a pizza-type thing soon, see how it turns out... basically the dough with olive oil, dill, goat cheese & feta on top... no tomato sauce... so more like a cheesy flatbread
