random question you may be able to answer for me...what is the spice mix that is often on salads in Greek and even Middle Eastern restaurants, on simple salads of just cucumbers and tomatos? it's almost a purplish dark brown color?

Does Wegmans exist on the West Coast? Wholefoods can get really expensive really quick so I usually go to Wegmans. It has a lot of the same stuff but isn't as $$$ IMO.

No, sadly. I miss Wegman's from my time in Blo. As is, I head to a combo of Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Safeway to get a lot of the same stuff I'd get there. The meats at Whole Foods are better than anywhere else outside a local ethnic butcher shop though, it's more a special event treat than a regular stop. Best sausages I've had on the W coast by a mile.

You probably have smooth sumac if it is growing big enough to mess with steps and other structures. Poison ivy and poison oak are small and though poison sumac can grow into large shrub it's highly likely that you would have gotten covered in it if your cutting it out. You'd know by now. You'll probably have to spray it with a broadleaved herbicide to truly get rid of it. Mowing and other forms of manual removal just pisses it off. So does prescribed fire unless it hot enough....but I don't think you'll be using that method.
