and I haven't seen Stargate Universe yet but if it doesn't have Richard Dean Anderson or David Hewlett in it then it's not Stargate (not counting the source movie which is also good).

It;s actually not bad, had a pretty strong pilot IMO... and RDA made an apperance, and will make another one.

I liked the movie and the series but if I had to pick which I like more, it would have to be the series.

Sounds more like DS9 to me. Avery Brooks is about as exciting as a mormon kegger.

So that clinches it...Stargate Universe is not worth watching.

Nah it was the least imaginative because it just took from real life. And it was way too religious. It was like watching a ten year old evangelical talk about philosophy.

STTNG definitely is far more relevant and deep. The characters in DS9 are all deplorable and weak...they're great examples of how people shouldn't be.
