Interesting concept, that. Usually, it's just a racist's excuse trying to back pedal away from being called out. "It was just a joke!" Still, all in all, an interesting concept -- one that doesn't exist in reality. - rdfred
Well I guess everyone who comes to the misc section regularly is a total racist then.
So tell me, what race did I offend anyway? When did I even mention a race or the subject of race at all?
If I say I'm annoyed by cultures that are outwardly emotional, how in the hell is that racist? For example, I like Japanese culture because they have a quiet dignity about them. I find Chinese culture to be a little louder and less respectful of others. The Chinese and Japanese are both Asian people. Where is the race difference?
If I say I find Italian sports teams annoying because they cry whether they win or lose, what race exactly have I offended? Italians are not a race.
If I say I don't like cultures where people are more inclined to wail in the streets (something Italians are quite good at), it's the exact same thing.
Racism isn't expressing personal preference or distaste for a particular behaviour.
If I sit here seriously typing out that I think any one race is genetically superior to the other or a particular race aren't really people and shouldn't be allowed to vote or something like that, then you can call me racist. Until then, get off your high horse, stop being so sensitive and grow the (frank) up.
Every time someone posts 'racist' after a totally innocent post on here, they're lampooning hyper-sensitive, ultra-PC crusaders who run to the race card as soon as they disagree with someone. |

I may joke about owning multiple serbians because they're lesser people. It doesn't mean it's true. Well... serbs were a bad example, but you get my point. - Shutdown

Actually, what I was referring to was your "mock racism" concept. That it was an interesting concept but one that doesn't exist in reality. You're being a touch defensive and jumping to distant conclusions as I did not refer anything personal to/about you.
But if you want to define racist in a certain way that suits you, you should expect others who see it differently to call you out. You don't get to define racism or racial profiling for all...sorry.
Why bother cursing? It just pulls you down into the muck... or (frank) you right back if that suits you better.

To be honest I just figured you were the other guy who started this garbage with me but with a different screen name because I don't think I've ever seen you here before (which doesn't mean you don't come here, but I just don't recall seeing you).
Mock racism is something that does exist in reality. You can't seriously believe that every time someone lampoons racism they're themselves racist.
I didn't define racism but rather explained the definition of the word:
rac⋅ism /ˈreɪsɪzəm/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [rey-siz-uhm]
–noun
1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.
Again, nothing I said fits into any of that. Expressing personal annoyance with cultures that encourage emotional outbursts is nowhere on this list. So no, I don't expect anyone to "call me out on it".
I swore because swearing works very well when you want to add emphasis and express annoyance. Picture it as a literary device if that helps you. |

I thought I had explained it to you and that you got it. At least rg got it and let it go. Are you going to the stupid end of the pool now with prax and crims? What a shame. Oh well, another one bites the dust. - rdfred
What you made RG say proves nothing. It's called a proxy or simply using a different computer. Just man up and admit it. |

It's not what I said to rg...it's what he was told by one "higher up" who knows me and knows the truth of the situation. I gave you many clues but you were too thick to get them. You only started on all that because of what rg said, so when he corrected himself about it, that should have set you straight.. But far be it for me to tell you what to think -- after all, you are of Greek descent. And we all know the Greeks invented everything -- including stubbornness and thick-headedness. |
