I remember I had some trick involving going back in and out of buildings until the easier badguys appearead. They were orange looking things.

I don't own very many newer video games but I have hundreds of old ones. I have probably a couple hundred cartridge games and a few thousand of them on roms on my old XBOX.

Old games are the best.

You can download all those old Nintendo games online and play on your computer. I downloaded an emulator that had like 300 old games on it. Brought back a lot of memories.

a buddy of mine has been trying to collect every game made for the system through ebay, old video game stores, and flea markets. he's been at it for about 2 years now and is about 30 games away (according to him).

he doesn't play them though, he just collects them and puts them in these plastic totes in alphabetical order. that makes me think he's an asshole.

he'll be like "dude, i just got this super rare game! there were only like 400 of these made! it was game of the year in japan in 1986 and it has 50 levels! there's a bug halfway through that can make your amount of lives double and sometimes triple! and this one's still in the original cellophane!"

so i'll be all like "well, bust that shit open and let's play!"

and then he'll be like "no way, i can't do that. it'd drop the value in half"


that's when i usually just leave and don't hang out with him again until he calls me and tells me he got his hands on some really good pot.
