i had three really loud blue jays wake me up early yesterday. instead of getting mad i just watched them do blue jay stuff for a while.

Have one every year at work. Can hear him clear across the parking lot. Amazing the sounds he makes. Told a co worker . What bird is making that sound . He said Blue jay. THen a Crow, then a sparrow, robin, Cardinal, I asked, How many birds you see in that small tree.. His response.. WTF I see one bird. He never knew about the mocking bird.

while i enjoyed this story i have a hard time believing that someone who knows all of those bird calls doesn't know what a mockingbird is
