they're the best with a spicy meat sauce.

holidays were the best. My own Gram made either homemade cavs or ravs. The bonus was I often went with to my Aunt by marriage family gatherings and there was another round of homemade pasta. Her mother didn't grasp the concept of no to food. I said it once. She hit me with a spoon.
