But it's true... go into a Jersey City in any CFL city and there will be Rider jerseys almost as numerous as those of the home town team.

It's weird. I went to a Eskimo game this year and they actually had to get security involved because of the Rider-Eskie fans going at it while Eskie-Stamp games never have that.

And at one of the sports bars in Edmonton, they have a sectioned off area where they put all the Rider fans so they don't get mixing things up with the other fans.

I am a stamps season ticket holder and i can confirm this is untrue. there was a fairly well publicized fight/ejection in one of the games this year (it was the one where Calgary won like 40-4)

Riders and Lions have a bit of a bitter rivalry going on at the moment, but Edmonton-Sask has always been on the rough side.

I remember there was a big uproar in Edmonton when the Riders bought the advertising rights to the billboard outside the stadium in Edmonton.

"We Walk Among You." was all the billboard said, with one of the trademark Melon Helmets.

Riders. Hurricanes D has actually been the strong part of their game generally speaking. Goaltending has been iffy at times, and for a long stretch we couldn't buy a goal, but our D has been consistant.
