Lundmark is making up for his bust status as a first rounder - GoodLeftUndone
He's played the best hockey of his career with the Flames...first time we traded for him he put up like a PPG after the trade deadline |

4 - My neighbour, who was mentally retarded, was the best goalie I have ever seen.
When I was nine, I used to play with these two guys on my street who were both 14, and one of their little brothers, who was seven. For a while, one of the guys' older brothers started playing with us. He was like, 20, and had Down Syndrome. Being total dorks, we all pretended to be different NHL players. I had a Domi jersey, so I was usually Domi, but when this guy played, he just said "I'M TIE DOMI!", and so, we let him be Domi while I was Gary Roberts... toughest son of a female dog I ever played against. You'd think it would be funny to watcha 21 year old downie playing with a plastic stick meant for five year olds, but he was ridiculously tough to play against. |

1-I work part time at the RBC Center in Raleigh, so I am at almost every Canes home game.
2-I have been a Flyers fan since I was 10 (85-86 season)
3-I became a Flyers fan because my first floor hockey team name was the Flyers.
4-The first hockey game I ever watched on TV was on ESPN, Sunday, November 10th, 1985. It was Boston and Minnesota. I remember this because it was the day Pelle Lindbergh was critically injured in a drunk driving accident. Boston won 2-1.
5-I play goalie in a mens league. I wear #31.
6-I have played mens league hockey with 2 ex-NHLers. Rich Shulmistra, who had a cup of coffee as Martin Broduers backup in New Jersey and a brief stint with Florida. he had 2 career starts. Stephen Rice was a first round draft choice by the New York Rangers and went to Edmonton in the Messier deal.
7-The most exciting hockey event I have been to was the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals in my first year working at the RBC Center. When Justin Williams scored the empty netter to ice game 7, that was the loudest sound I have ever heard in my life.
8-I had an opportunity to bartend the party after the Canes won the Stanley Cup in '06. I met most of the players as well as Kid Rock and Cuba Gooding Jr.
9-At the cup party, Justin Williams was nice enough to let me get a picture of him and me.
10-Growing up, Brian Propp was my favorite player. Later on and still today, Rod Brind'Amour is my favorite player.
11-Mike Richards is my favorite current Flyer, followed by Jeff Carter.
12-I was never much of a goal scorer, more a defensive guy, however, I did score a hat trick in the first period of a game during my floor hockey days.
13-I was cut from my high school hockey team. They had 4 goalies, so I tried out for defense.
14-I was heartbroken the the day the Flyers traded Brind'Amour to the Hurricanes.
15-I was opposed to the Eric Lindros trade from day one and still believe that it is the worst move the Flyers have ever made.
16-If there was one sporting event in the history of the world that I can go back in time to experience, it would be USA-4, USSR-3.
17-The first NHL game I ever attended was a FLyers-Sabres game at the Aud in Buffalo in 1988. Ron Hextall was in goal and the Flyers won.
18-My most memorable Flyers moment is Simon Gagnes overtime goal in game 6 of the 2004 ECF to send the series back to Tampa Bay for game 7.
19-I truly believe that if Pelle Lindbergh had not died, the Flyers would have won the cup in 1986.
20-I have bartended several parties at the home of hurricanes General Manager Jim Rutherford. |
