Not true. Just heard him on radio and he was laughing.
A bit bitter-sweet like he said, nothing more.

Wow. I didn't know that saying that we don't like that deal, autmatically means that we only want french candian players.

I learn new stuff everyday.

GREAT TRADE!

hahahaha

cant wait to see Chara shut his ass down all season...

Here the Bruins are with a 70+ point player like David Kriejci at 3.75 mill, and the lowly Habs with a 60ish point Gomez at 7.35 mill

Amazing what a little logic does for a club

Should be an entertaining season

- abolton

and still you guys cant win in playoff.... last cup 1971 ? good job !

They'll get Heatly, which like all the other star players that go to NY will fail miserably.

Easy there big shooter, lets not get personal...I just might be that "bigger fish" lol

Don't forget I live in Montreal, I know how you've treated Kovalev. Lie to yourself, but not to others...

p.s. Wanna come over and talk about it with me?

- JLO

You have zero hockey knowledge at all, we treat kovalev like he is kovalchuk, so before you call us the worst fans at least know what your saying makes sense, have fun missing the playoffs again douchebag.

I dont understand why we are so pissed How much cap room do we have left??? tons, Komipuff is not coming back he may play with the Rags now that his little buddy is there. So lets do the math 10mil for 2 new Dmen I would like Seidenberg or De Vries and Beauchemin cap hit could be under 8 for both and also sign Schneider all 3 for 10 mil. Now we have over 17mil to sign Kovy and Hossa and Tangs that looks good if the only deal BG does up front is Scott god be with him.

gainey is running this storied franchise into the ground, maybe they need dibs on the first french canadian pick every year (that ended in the 70's) to be actually good again.

here is a short list of gaineys blunders

souray
ribiero
streit
ryder
trading away the future for a 2nd line center with no size and makes 8 million a year for another 5 years which they could have resigned koivu who is better for probably 4 million.
letting kovelev, koivu, tanguay and lang test free agency
develope komiserik into the player he is today to let him test free agency

im sure there is more, gainey, you should retire already!

ah what am i saying, keep him there, im a bruins fan!

lets try this again without the SCALR

ignoring the desperation on NYR's part, we were desperate for a forward who will put up more than 60 points. Higgins and McD isnt THAT huge of a price right?

Gainey did a great move.... why because NOBODY WANTS TO SIGN IN MONTREAL

hey, before you freak out let me say this...

NOBODY WANTS TO SIGN IN TORONTO

Therefore Gainey and Burke need to either acquire players that nobody really wants, or they overpay or they develop.

So that being said Gomez is the best player on your team and would have been last year...

Yes you guys have some good young talent but why not get a guy like this to at least attract a big time winger

What winger wants to sign with a team that doesn't have a player to dish him the puck?

Gomez is a great two way center and is a good playmaker and extremely good skater.

Its not as bad as the media is making it.

No not really. I'm quite level headed even with this trade. My point is you shouldn't be throwing stones when you yourself live in a glass house.

I don't understand Bob Gainey. I mean, I love the guy, but this is totally insane. He just gave the Rangers enough space to sign Komisarek. Including McDonagh in the deal is too much for me. I just don't get it. I know Gomez is very good though. but 8 million a year? He better score 40+ goals this year.
