i don't have a sister, he can chase both. if i had a sis and knew this guy and the way he thinks in the real world, he wouldn't make it within 10 feet of either. he seems to think that women are like pets, he needs to take them to get groomed so he can tolerate their presence. that's about as vain as one can get.

That's right, and now the perception of beauty is different. Back then also, women were far more minimalized and objectified than they are now. Is that a good thing? Women will always be appreciated for their beauty, only now they have a lot more rights and opportunity than they used to. My wife CHOSE to be a stay-at-home mom, chooses to keep herself looking great and chose to marry me. Believe me, she had plenty of suitors.

Yup. My sister was quite overweight for a while. I introduced her to a lemonade cleanse, ran with her every morning for months, introduced her to pilates and plyometrics. She's lost about 60 lbs to date and has thanked me on a number of occasions for motivating her. Others simply expressed sympathy and rambled on about inner beauty, never seeming to see that she was miserable despite all their new agey hogwash. Now she's fit, happy and all because one person cut through the crap and actually DID something to help her. I would do the same for anyone who wanted help.
