it has recently been discovered that if a mod does it for you it will disappear from your my threads. otherwise, no go.

i think everyone should listen to whatever they like.

i don't like pushy people who act like they know what you should listen to and push their fav bands on you though. you can only hear a person say "if you like _____ then you should listen to _____" so many times before it sounds less like they are interested in you finding a new band you like and more like they just kind of like the sound of their own know-it-all snooty voice.

listen to whatever you like to listen to.

I have a few friends who do that because they honestly just like the bands and want others to give them a listen, and since I don't know a massive amount of music, I'm happy with it, because they're usually right.

Of course, I knw the people you're talking about as well, and would like to smack them.
