I own a Himalayan purebred , i always say once you own a purebred you know what your getting. Honestly my cat is like a dog. Comes to me on command, knows its name. Communicates with me through meows and what he wants. Some cats are special. Cats are stubborn animals indeed.

I have felt that just because a dog will do tricks and most cats don't, is not reason enough to say cats are not smart.
My theory has always been that cats are so smart that they won't learn any tricks unless they want to.

It is not something they have to do.
