How come after like 15 years of training Anakin wasn't ready to be a Jedi and he got suckered by the dark side but it only took Luke like 3 visits to Dagoba and some gymnastics to defeat Darth Vader?

Because George Lucas had a collaborative team around him to shape the original trilogy, preventing it from becoming the bland and senseless crepe that the prequel trilogy is.

Because Luke sucked. the whole point was Anakin was the most powerful and chosen to destroy the Sith. He did that by killing the Emperor. Luke would have died. Anakin won, Luke was a minor blip on the radar.

Ps- am literally going to be partying outside the Staples Center tonight. Decided not to shell out $120 for tix tho.
