It's funny, I was actually involved with a program that dealt with one of the schools that has these prayer sessions. The reason they started them is because lots of kids were regularly leaving class to go to their prayers, in unsafe communities. Funny how you didn't mention that.

Anyways, I think religion's role in public schools shouldn't exist as anything more than a course teaching world religions. Like that school in the states was trying to do. Before some right-wing idiots stepped in.

That's BS and you know it. The reason the Public schools started to do this, if they were being politically correct, and did not want to be labelled as Islamaphobes.

It all started with just the students assembling and praying, and soon they were allowing Imans coming into the schools and conducting segregated sermons......basically creeping sharia in our schools.

They gave them an inch, and they took a mile.

Being Politically correct, is totally a Left wing Progressive created ideology, that people like yourself embrace and use to brand anyone who does not march in lock step with you, racist, homophobic, Islamaphobic, teabagger etc etc etc
