I like your concept, but I think the current financial system is so embedded and has taken such a long period of time to get where it is that nothing short of complete financial collapse will cause it to change.

So more of a libertarian then?

Oh absolutely a libertarian. I like individualism, austrian economics, Thomas Paine, the whole bit.

I think you're probably right about the financial system not going anywhere until there's a total collapse but I don't think it's because it's so embedded. I think it's because people are apathetic and amused by iPhones.

That's valid though. It's not just iPhones either. It's a million different distractions thrown at us on a daily basis through every single possible form of media available.Every time we watch a hockey game, check e-mail, log on to the internet, play a video game online, 'social network' etc. we're just contributing to the general apathy that allows institutions like the Central Bank, World Bank, Federal Reserve IMF to continue consolidating their death grip on global finances. many think it's only a matter of time before a standardized north american currency arrives a la the Euro and then only a matter of time before a standardized GLOBAL currency.

and here we sit on hockeybuzz...
