You guys always love to here about the rumours going around the offices of TSN so here they go:
1) Gaustad might re-sign a 5 years contract on a declining scale for $16-17 million;
If Buffalo loses against NYR, he might still get traded with Vancouver, Nashville, Detroit, St. Louis and Chicago lining up offers, speculated to be:
Detroit: Emmerton and a 2nd pick
St. Louis: Patrick Berglund and a 4th pick
Vancouver: Cody Hodgson and a 3rd pick
Nashville: 1st round pick
Chicago: Mark McNeil and a 4th pick
PS. Other than Detroit, the other teams may not want Gaustad to play against, so the offers might be better than one might think....Colorado would like him too, but their offer is not worth mentioning unless it involves a bigger package to get Stasny.
2) Rick Nash
To: Toronto with Steven Mason for Komisarek, Schenn, Colborne and Gustavson
To: Philly for JVR and Danny Briere
To: Buffalo with Steven Mason for Enroth, Leino, Adam, Sekera and a conditional 1st pick (interchangeable with Roy and Leopold for sekera and Leino)
To: NYR with Mason for Dubinski, Biron, Wolski, and a 1st pick 2012
If the Philly deal goes down, Columbus would be open to trading Briere to Buffalo for Adam and Leino or just for Roy....do we want Briere back?
3) Dustin Brown
To: Buffalo (A) for stafford (because they want to pitch for Parise in July);
To: Buffalo (B) with Stoll for Roy and Boyes and Weber
To: Buffalo (c) with Kopitar, Stoll for Vanek, Roy and Weber (not likely)
To: Philly for JVR (this is the trade I would bet on)
To: Toronto for Komisarek and a pick
4) Derek Roy
To: Chicago with Weber for McNeil, Beech/Kruger and a 2nd pick;
To: Calgary: for 1st pick 2012, Stajan and Comeau
To: Nashville with McCormick and Weber for Colin Wilson and Ryan Ellis
5) Steve Ott: (Dallas played with 5 d tonight and might trade Souray as well)
To: Buffalo for Weber and a pick (beleived to be a 2nd pick)
To: Toronto for Kadri
6) Mike Riberio
To Buffalo: for Sekera
7) Brad Boyes
To NYR: for Wojtek Wolski
Once the Nash deal is finalized and he ends up in Philly, NY, Toronto or Buffalo, then depending on who gets him, the efforts for Brown and Roy will increase.
Also, don`t be surprised if Shaun Morrision is dealt to a team in need of a 7th defenseman or a team looking for a salary dump. Someone like Wolski or Stajan might be coming back this way, especially if Reiger cannot do any other deal on MOnday.
I am only passing on the chatter, so don`t shoot the messenger.

honest to god richard, you must be the most ignorant, useless, waste of a human being ever to walk the earth in recent memory. i have read this website for the last few years but never commented... however, your recent string of, lets call it "confidence", has made me sick to my stomach. the bottom line is this is a blog website, not a real news source, and you are still an obese loser from edmonton (or worse, the surrounding area). regardless, your opinion and "inside knowledge" (see listening to the local retards on local canadian radio) is absolute nonsense. the maple leafs will NEVER trade for that drunk russian goalie. he isn't even as good as reimer currently, which isnt saying much. in my humble opinion, please go to home depot, but a thick enough rope to sustain your worthless mcdonalds riddled sad excuse for a body, and hang yourself. please stop writing this nonsense. we all know you are secretly holding out for a real job in which you get paid (more than 17$ a week) to secrete this nonsense. lets let you in on a little secret... you are never getting a real job writing about hockey. you are not anything close to an insider. there is a reason you live in the modern day version of siberia. now please, for the love of god, let the real talent produce decent blogs (yost, augello, even ek) and go end this sad string of pathetic attempts to be relevant. Sick of all of the love for Burke. He failed the team today and did nothing to help the future. He should have just taken the year off, for what he's added to the Leafs, this season. So we have the same team, that started the year. OK, we never addressed the problem of toughness, on the forward unit, we never upgraded our centre position and thirdly, we never got rid of any of the deadwood. This team still has the likes of Komiserik, Connolly and Armstrong, still on the roster. So called veteran leadership that haven't done nothing, most of this year. By holding on to these underachievers, we stiffle the development of our young players, that are being held back on the Marlies. I get sick of the talking points, that the press pass on, straight from MLS&E. It's one big fail! 4 years into the plan, we're no closer to seeing the playoffs, as we were, when Stajan, Toskala, Blake, Ponikorvsky, Antropov and Hagman, were leading this team. I'm not buying this crap! - PrinceLH

the only thing ur missing anyways is the lame a$$ season ticket holders lounge..which is dead all the time or if its not dead its just a bunch of mods who are unemployed that go in there to talk...to be honest I only drop in now and then, they started to put kids as mods or angry divorced people with no lives..and the search engine on this site is obsolete and slow at this point..but you'll meet some cool people on here
think about it, why would the owner..eklund..have to hide himself and stay anonymous if it wasnt a scam?? - French-Connection
