All leaf fans should come out of the closest. I know people will tease you at first, but you can do it!!

Most of you became leaf fans because your parents got you a leafs shirt and blanket when you were growing up, and you all just went with it.

The leafs have poop on you for over 40 years now, they have never had a top 3 player ever, but they always seem to make the most money. I understand theirs a cap now but what about all the years you didn't have a cap?

So what does the future hold for leafs fans?? You went and traded away your chance at being the next pitt/ hawks/LA with the kessel ordeal. If you stay a leafs fan this trade will haunt you for the next 20 years.

Its not fair to you guys to love a team the way you all do, and have them take a big poop on your face, decade after decade.

There is a player in the NHL right now, a solid player, who has moved around quite a bit because teams find him too religious. They feel he pushes his religion too much in the locker room and other players are uncomfortable.

And for bringing up old subjects in a failed and vain attempt to discredit me. Now that you've failed at that, now your attacking me personally.

And secondly, I don't agree with the majority of your views. I don't think you see the game the right way. Your frequently wrong in my opinion. So why bother getting into a long drawn out debate with you. I get into enough of them. And the membership should be spared of that.

And thirdly, if you don't want to get provoked into "some inane extended debate". Why do you keep quoting my posts? LOL We know why. Because your looking to provoke. And that's the same reason for the 3 last posts you made without any content about the sport, and only containing personal remarks. You make repeated posts in the wee hours of the morning bringing up old posts from months ago, from different threads, but you don't want to be provoked.

The fact that you see the game and players and team dynamics differently than me does little more than reinforce the confidence I have in my own views, as you are frequently off the mark in your shallow and rudimentary observations and commentary on things (your expert knowledge of the CBA notwithstanding). My track record of insightful posts, entertaining and informative blogs and predictions that have come to pass speaks for itself, and has for nearly a decade on this and other forums. You? Um, not so much.

The main reason I quote your posts is that you tend to come off as some self-important know-it-all who feels his own views and opinions are beyond reproach...you frequently go beyond this and insult the intelligence of other posters with your snide and diminishing comments. You dish this crap out often, creating needless tension and frustration amongst "innocent" posters around here who are just looking to voice their opinions and perhaps engage in debate without getting insulted...you shouldn't be able to get away with it...so, I call you out on it and make you eat your own words when it turns out you are wrong (which is often enough). I'll admit, there's a certain special satisfaction I and others seem to get out of it when you're wrong, but it's only done because of the way you come off in your posts and the way you treat others on here, so you have only yourself to blame.

My beef with you started long ago when I saw you treating a relatively new poster here in your typical manner. The guy was just trying to voice his opinion and you tried to shoot it down by mocking his comment and insulting his knowledge of the game. It was obvious by his response that this newcomer was pissed and I don't think he ever returned. This behavior continues to this day. When you act like this, you're just asking for some sort of eventual retribution.

I spent several months away from this site before posting again recently. From time to time during my absence, I would visit and peek in on the Flyer threads. I did this about 7 or 8 times... in almost every case, I was able to witness that one or more posters was being annoyed, frustrated and/or insulted during their exchanges with you. What does that say about you?

So, I hope you can understand how I consider the "privledge", as you call it, to be that you don't reply! []
