Hence why you continuously reply to the people you "supposedly" don't like.
Honestly your schich is old and tiring.
You remind me of the person that does a great thing like giving to charity only to make 3 steps back by acting like a child and making everything about you.
I'll wait for you to post a picture of yourself to try and intimidate me.
BTW you intimidate no one and if I was to ever meet you would gladly tell you that.
And no I'm not hiding behind a keyboard, I'm found easily.
For a fella that has as many children as you have, you really need to grow up.
Just my 2 cents and really hope for an ignore button as you will be the one and only on my list.

No, I'm not just noticing it. But I specifically got called out, even though I hadn't posted anything in hours by someone who pretty much just feels the need to disagree with me just because.
This is the same person who kept saying they wanted the Sabres to move Girgensons not even 1 year after we had drafted him. It's starting to get old.
I don't think some people understand how call ups work. I'm not saying you don't, but I'm going to throw this out there for the rest of the masses.
When guys get injured and a team needs to recall someone to fill in, there are several factors that play into who gets recalled. What role the player that is going to miss time plays is often the first thing considered. Usually then they look to see who plays a similar role in Rochester and of those guys, who's playing the best at the moment. Once they determine that, that's the guy they recall. At that point, they usually take the player they just recalled and plug him into the spot the injured player vacated. Every so often they just recall the guy that's been playing the best, since they feel that he deserves a shot to play with the big club.
Sometimes, instead of taking this route, they move someone else from the roster into that spot and put the recalled player into that one instead.
If you look at who's been injured recently and who's been recalled, you can see where a good portion of this logic comes in. Mitchell and Kaleta both missed time, so they recalled Schaller and Grigorenko. Schaller was essentially Kaleta's replacement and Grigorenko was Mitchell's. The second set is a bit odd, so that was probably a case where they felt that Grigs has earned a look with the big club.
In the middle of the season there's a lot of moving parts, and that's where the coach needs to figure out who to put where. I had no issue with Armia being put into Moulson's spot in the lineup. He's played against men for quite some time now. It's not his first year in the AHL from a Jr league. He's been playing in Men's leagues since he was drafted.
I thought for his first game, he wasn't bad. I would have liked to see him battle a bit more along the boards and in the corners, but he had some nice chances and wasn't a huge liability out there.

Let's assess Kessel and Phaneuf as defensive players, shall we, before we consider Yandle.
Phil Kessel is a defensive eye-sore. I love the guy's production offensively but he is incredibly weak along the boards, remarkably slower when skating on the back check compared to on the rush (i.e., you know he has the speed to get back but most often mails it in) and plays a one-and-out type game that works great when he is sniping, but makes him look like a wimp when he's running cold (as he is currently). Toronto needs a top line with the discipline to play along the boards (like the Sedins in Vancouver) and the fight to come back and take the puck from the forechecking opposition. Not just wait around by center ice for the puck to appear. On a Stanley Cup winning team Phil Kessel is still a #1 winger. We saw in the series against Boston that he stepped up, played physical (see: hits on Chara and Seguin he delivered), and sacrificed himself for the sake of winning. The reason he will never be hall of fame worthy is that he only plays a tough 200 ft game in the playoffs.
Phaneuf, as was pointed out to me recently, is a pretty good player. But he is never great. He can be consistently good for 60ish games a year but there are 20ish games where he is just off. That's the nature of a "pretty good but not great" player. He's either on and decently effective or off (as he was last night) and unable to contribute meaningfully. If he could take those 20ish "off" games and turn 10 of them into "great" games we might have a case for a solid #2 d-man (or a mediocre #1 d-man). Instead we have a player who, for no true fault of his own, lacks the skill set to be a GREAT d-man capable of not just holding back other team's top lines, but forcing them back on their heels by driving the puck north (see: Drew Doughty). On a Stanley Cup winning team Dion Phaneuf is an excellent #3 d-man. On a contending team he is a #2 d-man. On a borderline playoff team he is a #1 d-man. As Carlyle would say..."simple as that."
