first post here. that said, u guys'll hear a lot from me from now. been reading this site's posts going on a few years now, and have enjoyed every minute of it, mostly because of the idiocy that takes place here. that said, after a while, as much as i enjoy it, the retardation on this site has reached the point where it is beyond frustrating. im sorry leaf fans but u guys are the culprits. and im not picking on you here simply because u are the worst self-professed fans in hockey (ive been to more than one game where half the crowd is watching the actual game from the tv in their box), but because you guys are too daft to understand that your team has achieved something that no other team has. it has managed to defy the rebuilding process by, while actually being in that process, trading the actual only valuable assets any team in that process has (i.e. 1st rounders) for an unproven, one-balled man (not talking about lance), who is about to put up no more than 55 points this year if hes lucky. dont get me wrong, kessel is talented. its undeniable. is he the type of guy to make players better around him tho and carry a team on his shoulders alone? i think the proof's in the pudding. i will segway here. burke, given his blunder of a trade (on par with luongo to florida), has no chips to play and no team to play with. his biggest one was kaberle this summer, and at the very least if he could have gotten clowe and an early (1st or 2nd) pick or setoguchi and the same, he should have done it. apparently it was on the table and he refused. now u will lose kaberle next year, ure best player btw, and be stuck with the most overrated dcorp in the league, minus its leader again of course, and an offense without a single center worthy perhaps of being deemed a league-wide 2nd center. it boggles the mind to think that grey hair didnt go after savard, but then again he won a cup with anaheim, so he must be a hockey genius. richards will never end up in toronto. there are no substantial, and/or long term contracted players, to trade for him, just as the organization has no picks. given the way hes playing since joining dallas, he is arguably amongst the league's ten best, he plays both ways, and he's a proven playoff performer. might make sense for him to actually join a playoff team...altho i am a die hard, born and raised habs fan, this note is not because i hate the leafs, cuz i dont. i hate the bruins. but leaf fans have to wake up and undertstand that winning the first few games in the season ever now and again does not entail a cp parade. mark my words, if anyone goes after brad, and it be around the deadline, the habs will be right there. they have ample room now cuz of markov's injury and a guy like him, as well as a cheap tough guy, akin to carcillo for lack of a better name (i know he wont be available), will make them the most dangerous team in the league. they are already the fastest, which richards will only help, and all they need is a little something, or someone, to be able to appropriately deal with philly. i still dont know if that will be enough this year still. a lot rides on price. but in the east, lemme mark this down now, washington and pitty will fall, short of crosby maitaining his pace yearlong(highly unlikely, altho he'll come close), and the latter of the two pickin up a serious top 6 forward as well at trade dealine. this is a ramble and i know it, and if anyone has read this far i truly appreciate it. nonetheless, remember this post when the great majority of this happens. and at the very least i would hope that my accuracy about the leafs is enjoyed. there is far too much bias on this site and it skews poeple's views. i love the habs but said they would fall to philly in 5 to philly last year. it'll be them two again the eastern finals, but the result will be different, and this will certainly sound biases, but habs in 6 given everything i just said happens, which will. pacioretty will also tear it up from hereon. call me on my psychic hotline if you want. 1-800-kadri-blew-up-yhe-twin-towers

even know i just gave you click for looking at your horrible information. I just want to let you know that you suck;...You sip the kool-aid and are just another embarrassment with this organization to let you interview the players. You are not "friends' with the players...keep drinking the kool aid dee. You are embarrassing the real Islander fans. What you started liking the team like 6 years ago. I remember seeing something about you not knowing some of our prospects drafted in 2009. Do us a favor and give up.
We all hate you and your article about CB ...people make mistakes and what you wrote is not really big news nor did it go viral.
Do us a favor and let the Zamboni run you over. Kool Aid Queen who knows nothing about hockey. - nautika
