Keep deflecting because your team is garbage. Are you going to talk hockey at all?

Only 6 points less than Kessel, in 6 fewer games, and $2.9 million cheaper than Kessel.

The story here is pretty clear. Finally, after many years, the Leafs have decided to do the right thing and blow it up.

Some of the blue and posters are in denial. They cannot accept reality. So they live in perpetual denial, critical of other teams trying to ensure that they do not have to look in their own back yard.

Really? Because I haven't seen a single Leaf fan upset about the rebuild.

Maybe this is the same Sens fan affliction that makes Dopps think JFJ and Burke tried building through the draft. And makes you and Dopps think there's any glimmer of hope for your team to become more than mediocre.

Yes but their team is better than yours and will probably be for a few years. Just because you do a rebuilt doesn't mean it will work and we will have to wait and see.

Could you expand on that, and then remind us of how many teams in the NHL have 30 plus losses.

Well I'd like to see where you're counting 15 teams in the NHL with 30 plus losses this season.

The truth is there are only four.

come on dopps, an OT loss is still a loss. yes, you get a point, but it's called a "loser point" for a reason......you lost the game.

its called "Overtime Loss" right on the NHL site

this is exactly why they like it that way.. fans like Dopps look at standings and see the sens 23-23 .. YAY! we are not that bad.. but are really 23-33

I was only looking at Regulation losses, and should have explained myself better. I still have a problem with a point for losing after regulation.

They're a rebuilding team, well ahead of the leafs by a few years. The leafs would only hope to be in the Senators position three or four years from now.

How many time do I have to remind you that Jason Spezza's request for a trade has set the re-build back a couple of years??

My math may not be up to par, but it's better than you memory. I'm old, what's your excuse?

so if Spezza is still on the team the Sens are not rebuilding and are in a playoff spot?

It's called a "Loser point" by (frank)ing morons who need to get over the fact that this format works fine and promotes more balance.

So much for the "addition by subtraction" argument that was so popular from the point of trade until about a week into the season.

I wonder why Spezza wanted to be traded from such a classy organization. Especially one with such a bright future.
