I think Prock would be foolish to deny that Karlsson is a great talent offensively. Good thing he doesn't. In fact, I don't think Prock denies Karlsson is a good player who could be a great player. Pretty much the only criticism he's leveled is that he's not great in his own zone.

Interesting read

http://mapleleafshotstove...5/07/06/phil-in-the-pits/

this is great

And these guys always handing out lessons on how to play defence. Seriously. But meanwhile, you wanna know who had some of the worst plus/minus players of All-Time?

Randy Carlyle. -135. That’s 36th worst ever. And another -11 in the playoffs.

And Jeff O’Neill. -115. That’s 85th worst ever. And -6 in the playoffs.

Exactly.

What more do you need to know about the way the press votes for Norris?

This year Karlsson will dominate Norris voting and will be in the mix for the Hart trophy as well.

Beginning to look that way, he seems to be "pacing" himself during the early part ofthe season so far, not as many end to end rushes, and there seems to be more attention to detail on (now) the NHLs 7th best PP.

In the overtime against Chicago he stripped Keith of the puck and blew past Kane like he was standing still and laid the puck on Hoffman's stick for the winning goal. Last night he scores the winner in overtime and sets up two others. His play is just amazing. Like watching a great master practice his craft. I believe he will be MVP as I predicted last July. He just needs to get Sens in the top 4 in the East for that to happen.

A very special player!

A very special player indeed. His actions in his own zone are so spectacular, that I hear pee-wee coaches were starting to use game footage to teach young players what not to do, until they realized that they all knew it already.

Leaf fans should not agonize over the losses. It's better if the team does lose, and gets the best prospects at the NHL draft they can get.

TO has Nylander, Marner, Piccinich, Bracco. I think we need to draft a top G and D. Carter Hart of the Everett Silvertips WHL is the best junior goalie out there right now. And for D, Jacob Chychrun, Sarnia OHL, Max Jones, London OHL or Jake Bean Calgary WHL?

Don Cherry says the Leafs should've picked Ritchie, and that Nylander was sent back to Sweden "to save his life".

Just wondering, is Jonathan Bernier still injured?

What do you mean? I was just stating my opinion on how I thought the Leafs could try to help "end their agony". The title of the thread is "Leaf agony" is it not?

Now I know why I rarely watch Coach's Corner.

They should've picked Ritchie instead of Nylander.

Oh hey, look at that, Dopps laughing at the idea of an injury to a player hurting the team's chances.

Did you know that if the Penguins fail to make the playoffs, the leafs will NOT receive Pittsburgh's 2016 1st round pick, acquired in the Kessel trade ?? . .

You're right, they gave up their first and third round picks for 2016.
