if you remember it that well, you'll remember I always said, he hasn't proven himself to me until he can string together two top notch seasons. He didn't, until last year. I've ALWAYS remained consistent with that, and when he did, I readily admitted, the Habs finally have a top notch goalie on their hands.

Price was top 5 in pretty much every meaningful stat in 2010-11, that's when he proved he was a top end starter. I guess your entire argument rests on his bad lockout season? We could use that same logic to say Quick wasn't a top end goalie around the same time then I guess.

It's not just by chance that he's good now, everyone saw it back then too. Well almost everyone.

Love this thread. However, if we are going to resurrect it perhaps we should read the lead post from page one. It says
