"Bad Karma", have you followed the Leafs? They've had nothing but bad breaks and horrible luck for decades.

Boston doesn't look too great themserlves. I can't recall the last time a "Cup Contender" traded their top goal scorer for no help now.

Has that ever happened in the history of the game? I know the Sedins were almost the top two picks, but I can't think of any time where a team actually had both the first and second overall picks. As much as that'd suck, it'd be hilarious. At least it'd mean that Boston was horrible too

The 'Monster' is ill for the 2nd time. Toskala is Toskala. Komisarek is costing the Leafs 2 goals every night. Blake is almost done. Grabovski is a puck hog. "Now picking 1st overall ... the Boston Bruins."

Kind of makes you wish Ballard traded the Leafs for the Oilers doesn't it.

Im not a Leafs fan at all, but jeez..you guys need to give your team a little more time. Its only 4 games for frack sake. You can't make sweeping evaluations until the 25 or even 30 game mark. Some teams don't even get going until after the All-Star break. The trade for Kessel will bite you though, which is a shame because Burke, as much as I think he's an overrated egotistical windbag, had actually made some positive strides in the off-season. Rebuilds DO NOT trade away two first-rounders, even for a 21-year old 36 goal scorer (with injury issues.)

Most of the people around me are Senator fans. At one time this area was all Leaf fans. We used to tease each other and poke fun at the other guys teams. Now the Sens and Habs fans don't even make jokes about the Buds. I believe some of them actually do feel badly for what has happened to this once glorious franchise.

It is being talked about on Leaf radio. I think the next step is to talk to the NHL and ask for some kind of relief. I don't think we have seen anything this bad since the Milbury exploded the Islanders.
