Yup. Cars have never been known to go through ice.

Level of the canal is lowered in late fall, so there's maybe two maybe three feet of water below the ice,

Don Cherry says the Leafs should've picked Ritchie, and that Nylander was sent back to Sweden "to save his life".

Just wondering, is Jonathan Bernier still injured?

I'm a Cherry defender, but not was his worst Coach's Corner ever. He never once mentioned Stuart Percy in his argument.

Has looked like he belongs in the two games he's played 5 on 5 and on special teams..........but the best thing for him would be the AHL, but is ineligible, so the next best thing is the CHL / WJC and another run at the Memorial Cup.

So he did play well? I'm not sure I understand the point of the posts then.

already?

Wow.

The way Sens fans blush over this kid, you'd think he'd manage more than two games before they scratch him.

Nylander >>>>>> Lazar.

Can't compare these two. One is a year and a bit older, made the NHL roster of the team that drafted him, and the other was send to Sweden to play in a no contact league and..................oh yeah....To save his life

I love how this bothers you so much.

Don't worry, I'm sure Lazar will be a decent third liner for you eventually.

Are you nuts?

Lazar has made the Senators roster, for at least 9 games, and then should IMO get sent back to junior (only other option). He clearly won a spot on the team due to his off season work and on his performance at camp.

Nylander on the other hand did not make the leafs, nor was he expected to as he is 15 months younger and at least two years away from where Lazar is now in his development for the NHL.

Nylander should have been sent to the marlies by the leafs, but they decided to send him home to Sweden where his mommy can tuck him in every night, and to play in the no contact league aka the SHL and of course................................to save his life

Its okay, another year or two and Lazar might be able to play hockey with men. On the third line.

Nylander has not even suited up for a single game this season, so far with Modo. Perhaps tonight?

Don't worry about Lazar, GM Murray has stated that Lazar will have to play himself off the team, to lose his spot of the roster.

Now I believe that's what he's going to say regardless after Lazar winning a roster spot, for nine games IMO, and I know for a fact that you've seen exactly zero seconds of Lazar's two NHL games so far, and have no idea of what you're talking about ( see Ryan won't ever sign with Senators) ................ but Lazar has shown he belongs in the NHL now, while I doubt Nylander will be on the leafs roster next season, or even the season after that.........................unless the leafs get rid of some of their smallish forwards to make room for Nylander who is maybe 170 pounds soaking wet.

They passed on 230 pound Nick Ritchie, who is playing in the OHL, a league that prepares young players for the NHL, whereas the SHL does not
