Can you provide any evidence of thi....... Ah (frank) it never mind.

The reason the sens were seeking to block selling tickets to leaf fans had nothing to do with behaviour. The assertion that it was is utterly asinine.

I think Melnyk made that claim once. I’d say part of the problem is that you’re referring to a city “that fun forgot”, a city that got voted the most boring city in Canada. They probably don’t know what to do when they see visiting Leafs fans enjoying themselves.

They do, or the league does? Who made the boundaries?

Will you ever post any evidence of what you speak of? Can you find a quote from the league the broadcaster or either team that proves what you are saying. I've posted plenty of evidence that shoots down this lunacy, and all you've done is ignore it, and claim I've not posted any evidence. I'm waiting to see your evidence. So far is just a moron with no evidence posting fantasies.

It's self evident, Habs and Senators have had an agreement since 1992-93 to show each others games in each others market. It's a fact and you can't prove otherwise.

leaf games that were shown in Eastern Ontario prior to 1992-93 were stopped when the leafs did not want to do the same deal the Senators and Canadians did.

It's that simple.

You claimed that the NHL prevented a NHL team from broadcasting their games into another NHL team's market.

The NHL has prevented its teams from selling their TV rights outside of teh local markets since 1985 according to Rick Westhead.

But I've proven you were so freaking wrong it's laughable, I posted the map that shows lots of teams that have arrangements to broadcast into each others region.

maybe go back further than 1985 and find something that related to the last twenty years.

Starting fights in the stands, throwing beers at other patrons and puking in the stairwells is what passes for "fun" in toronto?

I wasn’t the one that voted Ottawa “The city that fun forgot”. You’ll have to take that up with someone else.

The evidence is there, Senaturds management has clearly made an effort to restrict Leaf fans access to games in “the city that fun forgot”, and it logically follows that they refused to allow the Leafs games to be broadcast in “the most boring city in Canada”.

Self evident? Really? Sounds more like an excuse for no evidence. We do know that the league creates the boundaries, and the broadcasters have to comply with said boundaries. That evidence has been provided already. There is no evidence of an such agreements that you continually claim. Can you provide any semblance of this claim. Any at all?

I would go a step further, and point out that it is the Senaturds management that has made efforts to restrict Leaf fans be a part of the audience of Leafs/Sens games.

The only thing that is laughable is that you think you've proven something. Is it possible that the league created these boundaries that include overlap? Is there any evidence that this overlap is from some sort of agreement?

It seems that those in Ottawa have a hard time understanding concepts like this. The lack of ability to understand concepts like this perpetuates itself through their society. It’s even engrained in the universities there.

Despite having the lowest admission averages in Canada, the most prominent university “Carleton”, nick-named “Last Chance U” (http://www.canada.com/sto...13-41d4-94cb-e65c020d1d8b) due to many viewing it as the university they apply to in the event that they don’t get in anywhere else, they still have among the highest dropout rates.

Finding these for the rest of the country will prove to be consistent with this trend.

The sharing of the Atlanta television market (such as it is) between the Hurricanes and Predators was based on an agreement between the two teams and Fox Sports South. Whether or not the league had any input at all I do not know.

Canes website suggests they did.

I’d imagine the NHL is probably a little more amenable to making agreements down there. They’re probably just happy to have someone broadcasting their games, instead of dart leagues or bowling championships.

I think talent-wise there’s not too much difference, to be honest,” Nazem Kadri said last night when comparing himself, to his former London Knight teammate, John Tavares.

Obviously he was taken No.1 in the draft for a reason. He’s a heck of a hockey player,” Kadri said.

And I’m trying to be something like him or a Crosby or (Pavel) Datsyuk or a (Evgeni) Malkin or whoever the top players are. That’s who you are inspired to be.”

Kadri believes he can be great. He’s seen Tavares up close. He believes they’re not that far apart.

i wonder if he is taken out of context.

There have been some of the most skilled players in the world that couldnt be successful in the nhl. Theres a long list of russians that have more skill than most nhl players, but just dont have the total package.

hell look at wellwood, he was one of the most skilled players in the nhl.... but it takes more than skill

takes off ice weight training, determination, heart, dedication , two way game, speed, hockey sense, skating blah blah blah

does kadri have alot of skill? yes he does. For arguments sake lets say him and Johnny T are close(which i dont really agree with) BUt Johnny has soo many other tools to his game which makes Kadri look like a 3rd - 4th liner in comparison

Kadri was saying the skill isn't far off, but Johnny T's work ethic is way above his, and that's something he's aiming to change.

Didn't read the linked article. Not sure if the author chose to leave that part out, or if dopps did.

edit: yup, Dopps chose to leave that out. Wonder why.

Did not link to the article.

Did not cut and paste the whole article, becasue them you would whine about that.

But regardless, Kadri obliviously sees himself at the same level as JT.

Nothing wrong with that, wouldn't want a guy comparing himself to someone in the ECHL.

Hey, but go ahead draw your own conclusions and and then hammer the messenger like you always do, it's your thing

i'm gonna throw this out there, let me know what you guys think....

does anyone else think that Dopps and Prock are actually the same guy, suffering from some kind of split personality disorder....one personality a leafs fan, the other a sens fan?

it would explain a lot.
