Looks like he's be giving more minutes etc his year.
Time for JVR to take the next step. I want that bugger to start driving the net more. - Buts16
I want to see more of the JVR who was pushing around the amazing Pk Subban to create space before Asham's goal in Game 5 against Montreal.
I know it's not as flashy as the skill he displayed this year, but I really like how he used his size on this play. Big Props to JVR, Carle and Asham on this goal.
I honestly would put Richards with Carcillo on the Checking Line. - Flyers Time
Carcillo/Richards/Giroux can be used as a checking line, it's who I would assign the top defensive assignments. They just have a "little more" offensive pop then a standard muck it up and grind em third line.

they give you many options for the size of the videos before posting, pick the smallest one or it allows you to put in custom sizes.........i edited this so it did not stretch the page

I'm going to miss Asham, like that buggers game.
I can see him landing in Tampa, he'd be a perfect fit for the Bolts who are in need of both 3rd and 4th liners.

yep it would be the best checking line in the league. I rather have Giroux with Carter though.
I am concerned that the following is what will happen:
They sign Carter and don't have enough cap space to sign Giroux, Leino, Zerdev, Carcillo. they are replaced by 4 Nodls. - nails
Honestly, I'm not going to fret over signing Carter because I'm worrying about resigning Leino, Zherdev, and Carcillo. They can all walk. Carter is the priority followed by Giroux.

What about Briere, the greatest player in the world?
you know, the first time I mentioned trading Carter (weeks ago. I think I started most of this) it was strictly from the standpoint that if Kimo or Briere either wouldn't retire or waive their clauses then Carter, in terms of contract value and likely value of return, would make the most sense to move. - nails
Doesn't make sense to me. Let's move one of your top young core players to sign lesser players. Have to explain to me how that makes sense.
yup, but I will take Kaberle's expeiring contract so I can use that cap space next year..unless of course Kimo has aleady told the flyers brass this is his last year.
Anyway, I would make that moe and sign one of the goal scoring FAs swill out there. someone at 3M or less.
Would have 2.5M in free space this year and 6.5M in new space next year once kaberle walks away. - nails
And then do what with that money? Sign another defenseman to replace Kaberle? Your right back to where you started. Makes no sense. Trading another young quality player for Cap space.
